\I have long been drawn to Naples as a destination for street photography, with its\<\!\-\-TgQPHd\|\|\[\]\-\-\> mix of vibrant local life, Mediterranean light and characterful scenes from narrow alleys to open seaside\<\!\-\-TgQPHd\|\|\[\]\-\-\> promenades, all filled with a raw energy\.\<\!\-\-TgQPHd\|\|\[\]\-\-\>\

Several years ago, while attending the Rome street photography festival, I asked a group of Italian street photographers to share their favourite cities for\<\!\-\-TgQPHd\|\|\[\]\-\-\> shooting\. Naples came up again and again\. Local photographer Robbie McIntosh\<\!\-\-TgQPHd\|\|\[\]\-\-\> calls his hometown a 24/7 stage, and looking at his work, I can see why\.\<\!\-\-TgQPHd\|\|\[\]\-\-\>\
\
This workshop will be a little different, in that I have not photographed at the location before \(those with a keen eye may have noticed that the photos on this page were taken in Rome and the south of France\)\. As such, I will be charging a little less for this workshop\.\

Budapest is a city of striking contrasts, where grand imperial architecture meets gritty underground culture to create the ultimate playground for street photography\. It offers an endless canvas of light, shadow, and history to develop your photography skills\. Deeply rooted in the past yet filled with energy, the city hides underground ruin bars inside fading imperial buildings and historic coffeehouses, with its iconic yellow trams providing a nice flash of colour\.
The capital provides an incredible variety of scenes to capture, from the open parks of Margaret Island and the sweeping banks of the Danube River to the historic Jewish Quarter\. Here, narrow, high\-contrast alleyways open up into hidden courtyards, neon\-lit street food markets, and chaotic ruin pubs built inside decaying WWII\-era buildings\.
As the sun sets, you will get the chance to experiment with handheld night photography\. With no tripods or flashes allowed, we will focus entirely on capturing authentic nocturnal scenes, training your eye to find and master the dramatic low\-light pockets of Budapest after dark\.
As with all my multi\-day workshops, I’ve spent time curating a thoughtful mix of local spots for our breaks to give you a real taste of the city\. From no\-frills \
lángos\ stalls and neighbourhood bakeries to atmospheric ruin pubs where we can sit back and review our photos from the day\.

The city feels deeply rooted in history, yet it’s full of youthful energy, with creative spaces tucked between crumbling façades and traditional taverns\. Porto is a fantastic place to explore with your camera\. It’s the kind of place where you’ll want to slow down, linger over a bica at a café, and let the rhythm of the streets guide you\.

You’ll move through steep staircases and narrow alleyways, across iron bridges and along the Ribeira waterfront, capturing daily rituals, layered textures, and the ever\-changing play of light and shadow that makes this city so compelling\.\
