Terms and Conditions

**Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking a photography workshop. By making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. **

1. About the Business

These Terms and Conditions apply to all photography workshops (“Workshops”) provided by Street with Matt, a trading name of Matt Badenoch Photography Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), including but not limited to publicly advertised workshops, private group workshops, and one-to-one workshops, whether booked via our website, email, or any other means.

Our Workshops take place in public locations within the United Kingdom and overseas. Workshops may be single-day or multi-day events.

2. Eligibility and Customer Responsibility

2.1 You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age at the time of booking. We do not permit participants under the age of 18 to attend Workshops under any circumstances.

2.2 You are responsible for ensuring that you are physically and mentally fit to participate in the Workshop. If you have any medical conditions, injuries, or disabilities that may affect your participation, you should seek appropriate medical advice before booking.

2.3 You are responsible for complying with all local laws, regulations, customs, and instructions applicable at the Workshop location, including those relating to public conduct, photography restrictions, and health and safety.

3. Bookings and Payment

3.1 All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once full payment has been received.

3.2 Payments are processed securely via Stripe.

3.3 Prices are stated in GBP (Pound Sterling) unless otherwise specified.

3.4 You are responsible for ensuring that the details provided at the time of booking are accurate.

4. Cancellation, Refunds, and Transfers

4.1 All Workshops are non-refundable. By completing a booking, you acknowledge that you are purchasing a place on a Workshop for a specific date or date range and that no refunds will be provided once payment has been made.

4.2 No refunds will be given for:

  • Cancellation by you for any reason
  • Non-attendance or late arrival
  • Illness, injury, or personal circumstances
  • Travel disruption, delays, or missed connections
  • Changes in weather conditions or shooting opportunities

4.3 You agree not to initiate chargebacks or payment disputes in respect of any booking that falls within this non‑refund policy. Any such chargeback or dispute raised contrary to these Terms and Conditions will be contested using evidence of acceptance of these Terms at the time of booking.

4.4 Bookings may be transferred to a replacement attendee provided that:

  • You notify us in writing by email prior to the Workshop
  • The replacement attendee meets the minimum age requirement of 18

4.6 Where a Workshop is cancelled by us, you will be offered either:

  • A place on an alternative Workshop or rescheduled date, or
  • A full refund of the Workshop fee paid

We will not be liable for any additional costs incurred by you, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, meals, or other expenses.

6.1 Workshops take place in public spaces and may involve walking, standing for extended periods, uneven surfaces, traffic, weather exposure, and other inherent risks.

6.2 By participating in a Workshop, you acknowledge and accept that photography activities in public and overseas locations carry inherent risks, including the risk of personal injury, illness, loss, or damage.

8.2 We do not provide insurance cover for participants.

9. Behaviour and Conduct

9.1 You are expected to behave respectfully towards other participants, members of the public, and the Workshop leader at all times.

9.2 We reserve the right to remove any participant from a Workshop without refund if their behaviour is deemed unsafe, disruptive, unlawful, or inappropriate.

10. Photography and Media

10.1 During Workshops, we may take photographs or video recordings for promotional or educational purposes.

10.2 By participating, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use such images or recordings in which you may appear for promotional, marketing, and educational purposes.

13.2 Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Bookings Made for Third Parties
